WILLIAMSON COUNTY AGRICULTURE EXPO PARK
Located on Long Lane, near exit 61 of I-65--near
Franklin, TN (20 miles south of Nashville)
Directions: Take exit 61 from I-65. Go east (left if coming from Nashville) on Hwy 248 for 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Long Lane. Ag Expo Park is immediately after turn.
A FEW FACTS:
Arena is 150' x 300' (we will probably shorten a
little). Ground is good--facility moves sand in & out depending on
show.
Permanent seating for 4100--HUGE restrooms.
Food service--pastries, juice, etc. for breakfast;
hot & cold sandwiches, fries, nachos, etc. for
lunch.
2 Barns with total of 196 stalls. Stall
floors & barn aisles are asphalt, so may need more shavings or straw under
shavings.
You can order shavings to be delivered in advance
(through BGRHA) if you pay for shavings in advance. Shavings may be
purchased at show from facility staff.
Barns are open on long sides, have ceiling fans,
electrical comes from ceiling (pulley-type cord)
Outdoor covered warm-up pen (dirt) is right outside arena.
Separate outdoor arena with crushed gravel footing.
There are NO camper hook-ups at the present
time. CANNOT use extension cords from barns to trailers.
There are showers and restrooms on the near ends of
the barns and wash racks on the far ends of the barns.
I should get a "site map" to publish before the show.
ALL HORSES MUST HAVE CURRENT (12 MONTH) COGGINS.
OUT-OF-STATE HORSES MUST HAVE 30-DAY HEALTH CERTIFICATES.
